The puppet ministry at the Eureka church of Christ started in the 1990's with Billie and Millie voiced and operated by Corky and Evelyn Bridges. The ministry blossomed over the years under the direction of the Bridges. More skits, more puppets, and more puppeteers were added as the Bridges dedicated most of their spare hours to making and designing puppets and sets still used by the ministry today.
In 2007, God called Corky home. Since then, Chris and Karen Jones have dedicated their time to continuing the puppet ministry at the Sidewalk Celebration Finale each year.
